VANCOUVER, WA — The owner of an Oregon home-inspection business has pled guilty to charges that he conducted site reviews without proper training or certification when looking for lead-based paint, according to the Claims Journal.

Martin G. Kuna is the owner of "Mr. Mold," a business that inspects homes for mold, radon, lead-based paint and asbestos, the article stated.

According to the article, from May 2008 until September 2012, Kuna claimed in ads that he was certified to conduct lead-based paint inspections.

In January 2012, after performing at least 10 of these inspections, the (EPA) told Kuna to stop, but he continued until September, the article noted.
